1st NSV 1 month post-op

I had my first NSV yesterday. I was exactly 1 month from my surgery and treated myself to a movie.  For the first time in years, I was able to sit in the seat without having to lift up one of the arms so that I could spill over into the seat next to me. I even had a bit of room to spare on each side of me. What an amazing feeling! 

I am looking forward more of these victories popping up in unexpected ways.  Maybe I'll try a booth in a restaurant next!

I want to try the movies and see if I can do it without the popcorn.  I love movie popcorn.

I love movie popcorn too and cannot remember the last time I ever went to a movie without getting some. Turns out, I can "survive" a move without popcorn. Who knew?   I did take precautions and have water with me and timed it so that I got to the theater a minute or two before the trailers started so there wasn't even time to smell the popcorn.  

Another bonus, it was a cheap trip to the movies without buying all of the extras. I'm dreaming of all the other things I can do with that popcorn money. 

That's fabulous!! For me it was fitting in an airplane seat comfortably and no extender!! Congratulations on a great NSV!!
